The flux in our E7018 electrodes are Low Hydrogen, iron powder welding type of 490MPa class. High tensile steel in ships, bridges, storage tanks, building and industrial machinery.

Developed for all positions (except vertical down).

2.5mm – suitable current (amp) ranges dependent on positions and thickness of material: 50-110 AMPS.
3.2mm – suitable current (amp) ranges dependent on positions and thickness of material: 90-140 AMPS.

Application
E7018 is a basic electrode designed to improve deposition rate and bead appearance for welding mild and low alloyed steels under conditions of high restraint.
