If you’re a beginner, you’ll soon learn to grind tungsten electrodes. I wore out the standard discs with my PerfAngle grinder. I bought 3 packets of electrodes, cut them in half, then ground each end to a point. The thicker grinding discs do last longer.

Work well and have done many grinds without much wear. I will try the thicker discs next time.
