If you’re a beginner, you’ll soon learn to grind tungsten electrodes. I wore out the standard discs with my PerfAngle grinder. I bought 3 packets of electrodes, cut them in half, then ground each end to a point. The thicker grinding discs do last longer.

Q & A

Ask a question
I've got the perf angle for ChristmasJust checking the max speed of the 2 disc types? Daniel Wright asked on 01/02/2025

Hi Daniel after speaking to the disc factory they say that max speed of both discs are much greater than the rotary tool machine can produce, as long as you're using the perspex cover to avoid injury of course. But I'd personally recommend starting from speed "5" or some where in the middle and working your way up to desired speed, cheers!
